Didnt see a blockage. Her intestines were full of grass, seeds, and other things.....so stuff was going through just not digested.

Well…my cross beak has been doing great and was laying us some beautiful blue-green eggs…..she went broody around Labor Day and sat on some of her flock mates eggs and now is a momma to 4 little chicks. She is a GREAT momma!!! Gonna keep her around as long as she stays healthy!

16 out of my 18 eggs have hatched!!! The 2 remaining eggs did not have pip's in them, so I took out all the chicks and egg shells and placed the unhatched eggs back inside the bator. I wrapped the eggs in warm wet paper towels and put them under the heat lamp until I got everyone out and the...

So far 4 out of 18 chicks have hatched…all by themselves. And I noticed when they come out they are bragging a green sac connected to them by a white cord…..it falls off, but is this normal??? This is my first hatch!

3 BABIES!!!

I have 2 babies this morning!!! Many many of the eggs have pips to them. Maybe with the little babies using the eggs as soccer balls they will hatch quicker! LOL Hate the fact that I have to go to work today :(

Im on day 19 and I have 2 out of 18 eggs that have pip'd! I can hear one of them chirping away! The waiting is KILLING me!!! I thought I was going to have a heart attack when my digital thermometer read 38 degrees!!! I must have hit the F/C button! What do other people do to pass the time???

I moved it downstairs…..only 2 eggs rolled around a bit, one more then the other. All my air cell X's are still up and I have one that has pip'd!! Lots of rocking and rolling now! Im sooooooo excited!!!
