I probably should have made it clearer, that bird in the first link isn't mine, just looks exactly like it. The bird in the second pic is mine at 5-6 months. I would have a photo of it now, but my camera isn't working and I just got back from being overseas. I'll see if I can get a pic soon...

Okay.... I just came back from overseas and I find that my silver-laced wyandotte 'hen' is now a roo. 'She' was six months old and people on here told me she was a hen. Now 'she' is 9 months old and looks like this...

My big boy is around six months old, and I still haven't heard any crowing yet? When do they start crowing? The neighbour's roo is very noisy, could that be connected? Or have I just got a quiet one?

I know someone who bred a new breed . The end result is beautiful. They are not as big as, say as Isa Brown, because they have some bantam. The have light markings ( speckled sussex coming in here ) and come in a few different colours. Very beautiful

I have an aggressive bantam hen She thinks she's bigger than she actually is and I call her Ankle-Biter. I say split them up and see what happens.

I'm not too sure on this one. I hope it's not a roo, because that would mean rehoming it. Also, what type of Wyandotte is it?

Seriously though..... say they came as part of a surprise package from a chicken magazine or something. Or that a friend was moving and they asked you to take them.
