    Okay final count 20 of 21 hatched the one that didn't make it had help from another chick and it wasn't ready :( I was at the hospital all day so by the time I caught it it was too late.

    I didn't think it was hard to get the egg turner out either. 17 of 21 have hatched now.

    Update: Candled today day 15 all eggs showing movement/growth lockdown starts Sunday!! I can't wait to share my hatch rate.

    Good idea! I'll ask my brother/dad if they have anything we could use. It just lets too much light out around the egg to get a good view inside. I have two blue easter eggs that are almost impossible to see through!

    I was actually thinking a different candler would be good. I do love that it's there that helped on Day 3 when I was worried about an egg. So far I am loving it! It's my first time hatching so I was nervous! The temp/humidity seem to be staying really accurate. I did have a power outage...

    Update Day 7: I candled all 21 eggs I put in and all of them are moving around happily in their eggs!! I'm pretty happy so far!! But anything can happen today forward of course.
