Pros: Cute friendly and huggable! Even the roosters are cuddly
Cons: Muddy feet.
Love these! I have a breeding pair, they are great! Feet get dirty though with foot feathers, but they are ADORABLE and love to be held!
Pros: Predator proof!!! Good early layers, Rooster proof
Cons: Very wild, un-catchable, LOUD, aggressive even after regular handling, small birds = small eggs
Have a few hens. Roosters don't over breed these guys. They are fast and flighty. They are wild and don't like to be caught even after regular handling and they will peck and scratch you hard. Make a horrendous racket when you try to catch them. They are small and lay smaller eggs, personally I don't mind a bit having smaller eggs as I don't eat much.

They are reliable layers and lay well, Predator PROOF!!! Low maintenance.

Right bird for the right person. Good free rangers. Not good for back yards or being penned up or as pets.

Owners must not mind smaller eggs and wild tempered birds that must free range. If you can put up with that or have a large predator problem this is the bird for you!

Pros: Friendly Beautiful
Cons: A tad wily, mature slowly
I have a pullet and a cockerel, they are still not full grown where as most of my others are. They are friendly but will fly though they don't go wild or anything. I like them and plan to breed them this year. Lovely birds
Pros: Big birds, fairly friendly. Lets you grab them and hold them.
Cons: Roo's are aggressive but not too bad.
I got a Buff Orp roo. Hes a great guy. Though he does like to fight with your shoes sometimes but he will let us hold him and doesn't fuss. Seams to like it actually lol. We can catch him easily by hand. No net needed like some of my other birds. This guy really rides the hens though and wears their feathers out so he's separate as our 'watch rooster'. Very nice looking birds, fairly plain but not ugly by any means.

I would recommend these to any one who wants good size birds.

Great birds! Mine are not old enough to lay yet. Very friendly even the roos. Do GREAT in cold. Will sleep outside in winter. No comb or wattles to freeze. Very unique and beautiful. Striking look. They resemble eagles.
