Frizzle feathered fowl can be traced as far back as the 1600, from Africa to the Philippines. British/ Australian and New Zealand standard of perfection described Frizzles as a heavy breed of their own. The breed is described as having a single comb, clean legged, the size of a Plymouth Rock.
