Have 4 giant pekins driving me crazy. They are just so dumb. Laying a ton of eggs but not with the system. Won't go in coop, Auto closing door, at night. Won't even go in the pen around the coop. Have to chase them in and do everything but walk thru gate. Omg. Frustrating. May be time to sell.

They are supposed to be huge tick eaters and no I am not putting them anywhere someone else's house. I am very rural and put them more rural. Almost got stuck last time.
French fries ok. Long list but basically correct. Some are very bad for them like chocolate and a few are choking/bad for crop. They generally won't eat what is bad if free range but avoid chocolate and night shade plants.

Put a live trap in with a snack. If really brave, put on leather glove and pick up by tail and toss over fence. Or a gun or dog. They do kill chickens btw.
Day or night important. Owls are big at head removal. If not, put cayenne pepper all over perimeter and egg nest and motion light. They all hate pepper but doesn't bother the chickens. With a light, if they can see, they can get out or away. (I have an open coop set up). If the dog hears any...
