went to hospital the night before last with suspected leaking amniotic fluid. After a wait of several hours, had a very painful internal examination, was told they think I'm ok and was sent home at 3am.
My sleep pattern is totally disrupted, so I'm constantly exhausted.

ah, but that's because you are ascribing english language sounds to the letters.. in welsh, we have more vowels, it's just that you see them as consonants because you are thinking in english. Our vowels are A, E, I, O, U, W, Y. :)

Actually, you most probably heard a Welsh man speaking Welsh. Our language is related to Gaelic, but it's a different branch of the Celtic languages. Sort of like cousins rather than siblings.
