I used 175 watt red light for my baby chick i just put it up higher and bought a piece of wood and made a divider so that way one part was red lit and other wasnt that hot... are u putting them in the brooder.. like a cage? for the first few weeks? because if so use paper towel on the bottom...

I dont know the answer to that question..
but what i would do is just put them in the incubator and collect them in there but when u put them in the incubator do it quick as not to let out as much humidity and heat.
or if ur going to have r chicken hatch them, which i recommend because the hen...
i dont honestly think there is, i have 4 chickens that i have had since there second day of life and only 1 comes up to me when i try to pet it or pick it up... so in my opinion i would think it would all depend on the chickens own personality and there is no way to change personality..

My chickens (I have 4) crow alot but they only crow when they are looking for the others... if 3 come out of the run and go in the yard at 8 AM and the 4th comes out at 9 AM she will crow and crow until I have to go outside and lead her across the yard to the others..
