    So my hatch is hatching:). 3 so far I will post pics once they are all hatched and fluffed up. They are just in time for my MIL's birthday tomorrow she will be 101. She lives with us I am teasing her and telling her that we are giving out the chicks as party favors:)

    So I gave away the 6 cockerels last night, I put a craigslist ad up and they were gone in a few hours. I askd the guy was he going to eat them and he said no, he was going to breed them. Lucky boys! So Now I have a new chicken buddy and he is gathering me True Blue Whiting eggs to hatch, now...

    yes too late, however I did hatch out some lavender orps and now how 6 boys to deal with, well at least I got 2 pullets from that hatch.. So the math is saying I can get more chicks! On the lookout for some sort of auto sexing breed...

    So the lavender orphingtons I hatched are getting bigger, trying t sort out who's who. So far 3, probably 4 of the 8 are boys , but only 2 are for sure are girls..... So I am not sure yet... I was hoping for 4-5 hens but I am doubtful. We shall see
