    Thank you!!! That's all of the eggs that were under her, they all hatched. 6 days apart in total. Those other eggs were a total fail, 7 were clear, only one actually developed partway.

    Okay, new question or two..... I have a broody with 4 eggs underneath her. They are about 5 days apart in total. She is in a coop with 3 other hens and a roo. Should she be moved? The first one is due to hatch on Thursday. She seems quite content to brood and continues to steal the others eggs...

    I go out this morning and check on Lexi, little miss broody, and she's on 7 eggs!! That's since Friday morning! Her first eggs is due to hatch on Thursday, EEEEEK so excited, so I took the 3 new ones away!! Cheeky girl!!

    I'm curious, the black and white coloring?? It usually means roos?? I have 2 pullets with black and white, Oreo does have some brown coming in, but Cookie is black and white. I love their coloring and would like to duplicate it!

Sorry I don't know what it is, but my little blacks are 10 weeks and very little still, compared to the BR of the same age and younger. If the others were beating on it that bad, they also could have been preventing it from eating...
