Hi, I've been researching button quail quite a bit and I'm very interested in them. I'd like to keep them indoors, in my room in fact.
Can any button owners give me advice on what to expect or anything I should know?
Through selling chicks and eggs do button quail pay for themselves after a bit?
She's been eating hay cubes since last night. Her droppings seem normal. It's strange. I'm feeding her as much as I'm feeding my other rabbit of the same size and the other one is doing fine.
My mystery colored (Mystery to me anyway) Holland Lop, Winter. She's 7 months.
My Black VM Holland Lop doe with marbled eyes. My first bunny.
My VM Broken Black Holland Lop Buck with blue eyes.
My Harlequin Mini Rex Doe (with Winter cuddled up by her)
I also have a Vienna White (blue...
My young Holland Lop (about 6/7 months) is very very thin. She's skin and bones. She has pellets and hay daily and I give her fruit and veggies occasionally. Yet she's getting very very skinny. I'm afraid she won't last a lot longer if she gets any thinner. She doesn't seem very interested in...
Thank you so much for the information. I got her as a pet from a pumpkin patch so other than her two parents, which were broken and solid, I didn't see or know of any of her lineage.
It's very probable that she is one of those odd in between colors and that's totally fine. I was just wondering...
I'm not sure what color she technically is. I'm having trouble getting the entire difference between lynx, smoke pearl, blue tort, lilac tort, and cream.
My polish boy has been getting beaten up. If he's not given a new home he won't survive the winter. Much of his crest has been pecked and bloodied by my other rooster.
He was supposed to be female. I wasn't displeased when he turned out to be a male, but my big rooster was.
He's only 5 months...
My white crested black polish roo is getting badly bullied by my big Black Langshan Cockerel. He needs a new home asap. He is five months old and beautiful. Right now a lot of his crest is pulled out and bloodied from the other male. I have him separated to prevent further injury but I can not...
I would absolutely love to have some peacocks and peahens, but I would like to know how different they are from turkeys and chickens as far as behavior and the difficulty of raising them.
I have a Cochin frizzle Chick that's a few weeks old and as he's feathered out, his body has gone bald, and his head and break seem strangely elongated. Is there any reason for this? I'm concerned. He acts very healthy otherwise.
Here it is compared to a normal (slightly younger) frizzle.
