This chick is 13 weeks old .. the size of the palm of my hand and has to be the ugliest thing I have ever seen (almost) ....
This little one was the egg left behind ... I brought it inside kept it warm (down the bra style) and eventually it hatched.
It's mum regected it and I brought it...
Im scared to say I'm with you, Alex ... #2 for the last few days just feels like a cockerel when I grab it, to pick it up. They have a harder muscular feel than the girls, in my often wrong opinion.
Which is a shame as I have had these 2 in the house in the middle of the living room on a table...
I rang around the local vets and they want around $70 for a consult then medication on top of that .... even my regular vet was in the $70 zone ... this little one may end up being a roo and I cant keep any roos atm.

Is this the stuff ????
...an antibiotic cream but it just attracted all the dirt to its eye so I stopped.
Im in Australia and I can only find the triple C stuff ... is that good enough or do I just bite the bullet and go to the vet .... just worried about the cost if its a roo that Im not going to be able to keep ...
Not me .. but I follow Mumbles on Facebook ... please look her up. In the past Mummbles mum (type person) has taken in one other eyeless chick .. that was near by. Im in Australia and not really good on my US geography, so I cant be sure where she is in relation to you. I have msged her to come...
I have a little 3 - 4 week old chick that has had many struggles and I was wanting to take it to the vet but ... if its a roo thats a bit of a cost for something that I will not be keeping.
So I know there are no guarantees but can I get some best guesses.
I have a clutch-mate with it ...

Yes looking at the clip it dosnt show the extent its up on its toes, it dosnt really put its foot flat to walk. It will stand flat at times but never to walk.
It spins all the time, when it has a worm. Trying to run away from anyone planning to steal its catch.
I have a shallow tray with...
I have a 4day old silkie x that has a couple of issues.
The most troubling atm is it can't stand strong .. its skipping about on its toes without very much balance.
It's not really eating well, the only thing I can get it to eat in live meal worms, how many is too many - and did you know they...
