Mine are just the standard brown coloring. Any chance I could swing by this evening to pick up some eggs? I'm not too worried about the size at the moment. And what is the cost?
Haven't been on here in a while, but life has been hectic. Went to Seattle over the weekend and have been providing additional light to my girls for about a week or two. Got back Sunday night to find that my Bantam Lavender/Self Blue Ameraucana hen laid an egg, and also my White Ameraucana hen...
Anyone know the regulations and codes regarding chickens in Newport, WA, in town?
Allowed roosters?
Allowed a certain number?
Anyone know the same information for Oldtown, ID?
Thanks in advance
Alright everyone, I've missed you. I've been dealing with personal stuff lately and have not been online.
When is our next get together?
Oh, and I now am the proud owner of a beautiful bantam lavender Ameraucana trio.
From my Easter hatch along, I have some blues (split to white). I haven't really looked at them to differentiate genders yet, but I'm sure I have a few cockerels. Otherwise I have some splash cockerels as well.
It's just the probe that comes with the little giant incubator. And no, it's horribly inaccurate, which is why I have 3 other thermometer/hygrometers in with it.
Me and Snowman enjoying the bonfire. He has such an amazing disposition, it would be a sin not to breed him. He'll have his own harem in a Few more months. He's Only 3 months old.
Well, broody hen gave up today. I think because she got pushed around when others tried to come in and lay... Grabbed the eggs and put them in the incubator. Time will tell how they do.
