I'm sorry if I didn't post this in the right area but this looked like a good area to try. I am getting ready to set some eggs in my incubator and I am having trouble locating some araucana hatching eggs. Does anyone have any for sale or know someone that does?
Thank you

I had the same problem and wanted to pull them out but the group talked me into keeping it closed and waiting. It was very good advice. They all hatched just fine despite be tossed around by the others. I ended up with 9 out of 10. Hang in there. How many more are you waiting to hatch?
Thought I would share some photos of my hatchlings. These are mostly silkies, couple of orpingtons and orpington/phoenix/americauna crosses.
This is my favorite out of the batch. It is a silkie but he has light colored feet and a light colored raccoon mask.
Happy Hatching!
Okay. That makes sense.
Would the other colors be desired? I understand if they are not recognized but I know there are splash, lavendars, chocolates, dun and even some laced are highly desired. Would any of the leakages or mottled colors you describe be desired by enthusiasts?
Thanks Binders. I am going to mix it up and place it in their water before I leave. It is only for a few days. She may have to feed and water them once while I am gone. Just worried about the warning and what to do with all the eggs for a month if I have treat them for 10 days plus wait 21 days...
I have a couple of chickens sneezing (one has a gargling noise). We recently had a ton of rain and their runs stayed wet as well the weather cooling down quickly.
I have been told by many to use duramycin 10 (or terra-vet 10). I know you cannot eat the eggs for 21 days after the last dose but I...
What about the leakage and dun you mentioned with the blue roo.....is that showable? I want to breed what is desired. That is what I happen to have in my orp flock.
Thanks Illia.
So, would you not recommend breeding a buff roo with anything other than a buff hen? When you say mutt colors you don't mean some black, splash, etc. You mean like a mottled or distorted color pattern?
Sorry guys if this has been posted before. I did search the threads and couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I have tried the genetic charts and sites and maybe its just me but I am struggling with this.
I have the following orpingtons and I am wondering if someone can tell me what...
