I raise true Araucana's but they're probably more expensive than you would want to pay if you're just wanting colored eggs. I just sold a couple of 6 month old pullets for $117 that I shipped out to Louisiana yesterday. I have some nice cockerels for sale now and may have a couple of hens
I don't know if I'll be able to make it to the show or not. I'm on the east coast right now with grandkids and will be home this weekend. I do have a cockerel with chocolate. PM me with photos of your wheaten cockerels. I'll send pics and info when I get home.
Are you wanting bantams or large Cochins? I traded mine to my son's fiancee's brother and he's selling chicks and hatching eggs I think. I know he has black blue and splash. My son has some other cool colors but his are bantam

If you just like the Araucana's for the egg color, my whites lay the bluest eggs. I am incubating eggs now and they're laying pretty well despite the cold snap. My Serama's are in the garage staying warm and they're laying like crazy now. Do you not have your Serama now? The tiny one's...
Anyone in near Springfield, Mo raising Serama's or Araucana's? I've got both and looking for breeders to do some swapping with this spring.
I have large fowl true Araucana and my Serama are A's through C's in size.

I'm looking for a couple of Black, Bantam Ameraucana hens or pullets. In the southwest Missouri area, preferably no more than a couple hours from Springfield.
kimisfishing,
Thanks, the first 2 are in Cuba, Mo and Sullivan, Mo now. We have finally picked 2 to keep leaving 3 pups and one of those may be spoken for now.
Go Cards!! We're watching too. Our son is in Maryland (Naval Base) and he's watching too
If anyone is interested, we're in SW Missouri. We have 3 Texas Heeler pups available at this time.

Marebear,
If it's Dave selling them, make sure you check them out good and see if you can get him to send photo's before making a trip to see them. He's been promising to send me photo's since before Christmas. I got such a run around from him that it made me suspicious as well as a couple...
I'm hanging close to the house today, got 4 Serama's hatching and the eggs were given to me from a mixed pen when I got the last 2 hens so I have no idea what colors they may be. Looks like at least a couple of the are black, hoping for a black cockerel
Just wanted to share some pictures I took this morning of my Cochin pair. I turned them out for the first time since I got them this winter. They put themselves back in the pen after they had enough sunshine and grass.
Bessie
Bigfoot
Muddy,
I loved hanging out with you all at the Heartland Classic and can't wait to come back next spring. I wished I could have made it in time to see the table top judging for the Serama's but I'll make it next show if I have to spend the night before there.
April is such a busy month for...
Joe in Fair Grove, Missouri has quality, purebred Ameraucana's. He had blacks and blues when I was there last and they're from well known bloodlines/breeders. He was working on a black mottled Ameraucana line. PM me and I'll give you his contact information
Cathy
Thanks I just moved the black hen in with T-Roo so I'll know which eggs are which now. The chocolate hen and Blu-T have the pen to themselves and I'm anxious to see what this cross will be like. I have some eggs in the incubator that are from one of those two and I'm hoping there might be...
