My ameracauna (muade) hasn't got any poof on her cheeks, While her ameracauna bantam friend (stella) has big cheek poofs. Does this mean the big ameracauna is a bigger mutt than the bantam? Or is she just taking her time to grow
I have been getting Medicated chick starter and just recently found out it is mash, but i have been feeding it to them dry. Is this a bad thing tht i feed it to them dry? About how long do i feed them tht....and then what?

My 7 week old chicks have runny poo, but sometimes it's normal, but most time it's runny. They are outside every day since they were like 4 weeks old.What is wrong, I REALLY hope they dont have worms. I need help. My babies are everthing to me!!!
well a few months ago I, being a teen, did a defiant teen thing and lost my internet privelege. In that time i've gotten chickens, One black silkie named Agnes,
One americauna named Maude,
One Leghorn Bantam named Chook (aus. for chicken),
One Americauna Bantam named Stella,
And Two Plymouth...
Any successful method or advice would be great, like when to order chicks.( i live in NY). I'm getting two silkies a mille fleur, and a standard and bantam ameraucana. Im using a dog kennel as a brooder. What advice can u give me to make my experience better with my chicks?

I think that 5 or 4 chickens would be reasonable for the amount of space we can provide. Besides, with as few as 4, i will be able to get to know each one as individuales. But i dont know if the breeds would be compatible.
