    egg laying question??

    I have a 4 year old male india blue, he has just started to holler but has been showing off off and on for about 3 weeks now, so this morning he is doing his thang with the white female who is 2 to 3 years old.....if she is old enough to lay an egg, how long till she does??

    worming and incubating???

    I read someone here had a bad experience incubating eggs from chickens wormed with worizine(sp?) is that true for all wormers? or just that one? I want to restock the 1202 but not if the eggs will be bad from worming.

    I have a 1202 and 2 genesis incubators, I have the yellow auto turner from gqf mfg, and the 1202 has the purple trays ??? since peacock eggs are larger do I need to get larger trays for the pea eggs?

    ???? when does the caterwalling start ????

    When will the noise start? I am all at once up to my butt in peacocks...so when do they start making that noise?? mine are males and females anywhere from 1 to 4 years old.

    weird, weird, werid, weirdest day today!!

    had not sold a chick in a month!!! had even listed some local on craigs list at a dollar each just to cover some broiler feed....no luck, nada, zilch, couldnt give them away, then today like a bolt from the blue, sold 55 and got a standing order for 120 as soon as I can hatch them, warming up...

    This is Chango, a christmas gift from a good friend who is convinced that we needed some peacocks around the yard to complete the jungle look that the farm has ( I am in the palm tree business). So my question to y'all is....what kind of peacock is he?

    would using distilled or r/o water in bators be better than just tap as far as mineral/scale build up?

    just sent 4 fat broilers to the fridge, 2 will go to freezer camp on sunday and 2 will end up fried, baked, or stewed???? just cant decide!!!

    heading out in a bit to get layer feed, hoping the feed store of all places isnt over run with shoppers, need some rye grass seed and a quick trip to the bank and it is back to the farm to hide out for the rest of the weekend!!!!     finally posting pics The ones on the ground are 3 weeks yesterday, and the ones in the brooder were picked up today from the post office funny thing I ordered 50 and now I am down to 40 I sold 10 while I was standing in line at the post office

    got the meatys

    got my meat chooks today, 35 cxr, and the 5 dark cornish for rooster stock, I am gonna post pictures later, and 6 of the 33 eggs hatched today too, I am about 10 minutes from drinking a drank and check on them one last time before i crash!!
