    Speckled Sussex Eggs or babies

    I am located in NH, and raise a variety of breeds, but obtaining good stock of the speckled sussex is almost impossible up here! Please let me know if you have them and if there is any availability of eggs or chicks. Trying to avoid straight hatchery stock. Thank you!

    Tying off umbilical? Anyone on line now that can help?

    At the end of a very successfull hatch...except this last one...too big and was shrink wrapped..pipped a LONG time ago. Had to intervene. Yolk is absorbed, got her out of the shell, EXCEPT for one piece of shell with umbilical. I know I may lose her nomatter what and she would have NEVER...

    Light Brahma, laying early and 2 times a day!

    I have 3 Light Brahmas. Two have been laying since 19 weeks(they are 23 weeks now), and the third is physically no where near ready to lay. For the past 2 weeks, one of them lays every other day, and the other lays 2 eggs a day, 3 days in a row, takes a day off then 2 eggs a day for 3 days...

    My first egg and ?'s about nesting box

    Finally got my first egg! Actually 2 of them. Both laid by these two light Brahmas...they are such tiny little eggs :) Now, here is the issue...they both laid them in the middle of the coop floor! Should I take the eggs and put them in a nesting box so they get the ides? Any advice...

    I have 4 EE's, one FBCM and 2 Buff Brahmas. One of the Buff Brahmas can NEVER...and I mean NEVER , pick up a meal worm or any other treat from my hands, or off the ground.     Insulating coop interior questions from newbie on premade coop

    8 day old EE chicks,noticing something very different about one! Roo?
