    I noticed on these nice warm few days we have had here in Michigan that swarms of bee's are all over my chickens feeder. They are attracted to something, What? I put out some wheat and cracked corn for a little treat and they were all over it too? What is it they areliking so much?

    A friend gave me some grower, can I give this to my laying hens? Should I mix it with there layer? I understand it has more protien than layer but what about the extra stuff they need for laying a good quality egg?

    Naked neck chick question??

    My naked neck chicks have a bulge in there lower neck, It appears to be chick food in there. Is this there crop full of food that I am seeing? It does not seem to affect them they are running around like chicks do eating and drinking and pooping like everyone else. Thank you for the info.

    Expecting chicks Monday...

    I have chicks coming from McMurray, I expect them Mon/Tues. I am pacing the floor waiting to get them. My kids and I ordered some Turkens, Silkies, Crevacors, EE, RIR, And blackstars. We cant forget the mystery chick. I will post some pics.

    Had to Cull my rooster today...

    My roosters temperment has went from bad to worse going after my children in the yard. I told the kids that I would take care of him before the weather gets warm and they want to be outside. Can anybody guess whats for dinner tommorow night?

    I am building a 6x12 coop approximately 6ft tall for some sex links, They free range daily. Out in the morning locked up for the night. what is a comfortable number of birds I can house in a coop this size? Thanks for you help.

    Cheese for the Chickens??

    I have a friend who works in a cafeteria whom gave me two five pound bags of mozerella cheese it has a little mold on it, She thought it would be a treat for my chickens. Is cheese ok for them to eat?

    I have a hova-bator still air incubator. I just put in a new wafer but still not obtaining optimum heat ranges. Now what? Anything else to look for or should I look for a new incubator?

    help two didnt return to roost...

    I recently added three bantys to my free ranging flock and two never returned to the coop for the night. They are two year olds that a friend didnt want. I watched them mill around the coop all day then went ou to check on all the girls at dusk and no where to be found everyone else accounted...
