    Everytime I go down to see the girls, I come back with tiny little bugs on me. They actually look like seed ticks but aren't. Are those what the chicken mites look like? How can I safely get rid of them? Please help. susan

    We got this as our "bonus" chicken from Murry McMurray when we ordered our Brown Leg Horns. Ofcourse the kids loved it best because it looked different from the other 25 chicks we got We have been thinking it's a hen but now wondering if it's a rooster? He/She is 9 months old.
