    Design for roll away nest box.

    I have an egg eater or two. I've tried hot sauce and it's not working fast enough to break this bad habit. I do have free choice oyster shell in the coop and run, so it's not a deficiency. I am ready to make a roll away nest box now... I could use some plans, if anyone has them. Thanks!!

    I cannot get game bird layer feed from my feed store. Is it ok to feed my chickens game bird grower instead of layer? My birds are needing more protein than the regular chicken layer feed is providing them.

    Dead hen.... no signs of predator or stress.

    I had my son feed the chickens yesterday and everything seemed fine. Today I sent him out again and he came running back in and told me "fire up the grill, it looks like we have a dead chicken!" (he was really shaken and he was trying to make a joke to keep from crying... bless his heart.)...

    Can they be sexed early? I have 3 wheaten/blue wheaten babies that are 3-4 days old. 2 are feathering much more than the third is, and the wing feathers have dark bands on them. 2 chicks are also more of a buff coloring while the third is yellow.
