my broodt partridge rock just got out of being broodt and hatched 9 chicks. and i just realized half of her face is swollen, and gets super red when i get near her or when she gets mad and starts to puff up. can anyone help on what i can do? or what is it and how she might of gotten it?

my chicks just hatched on saturday-monday. i was wondering at what age can i let my chicks go in the coop/run with my adult hens. the coop is a coop/run, it about 8' x 16'. my chicks are divided in the coop/run with the mom and the other adult hens. it's 1 BO and 2 RIR, and 2 OEGB chicks are...
these were some eggs my friends gave me, but didn't tell from whom. but some (8) hatched today...
but she left (8) in the nest and never went back to the eggs, so i put them in a cooler with some sponges and a heat pad and a heat lamp. and only this one hatched so far, (7) left to hatch...
my partridge rock has gone broody and tomorrow saturday is d-day! what should i do? the nest is about a foot from he ground, what happens if the babies jump off or how would they get down? and do i need to feed them something specific? i'm so ancsuce(sp?)!!!!
