I have a white aracuna chicken about 3 months that walks funny. She stands sort of like a penguin: head very high, tail nearly on ground. When I pick her up there does not appear to be any problems with her legs, they move just fine. As I move them she does not appear to be hurting.
Looks...

I have a young male pygmy goat that needs some company. Not worried about registration or pedigree necessarily, just looking for a young female for company.
Mcmurray just let me know they will be a month late shipping my order. Does anyone have poults they would like to sell. Just PM or Email me the info on what you have.
I had an order of turkey poults from McMurray hatchery scheduled for Mid march. I was just informed they would not be able to ship until a month after they were scheduled. I am looking for a some to raise for a fresh Thanksgiving dinner. Let me know what you have available in a PM or email...
I started my little hobby farm with only 8 RIR chicks early last February after a trip to a local flea market. Sounds crazy but we have been pondering giving it a name for some time as it is slowly growing. We now have about 40 chickens of various breeds, a pot bellied pig ( a christmas gift...
I currently have a dwarf buck who lives alone in a hutch. I am rescuing several lionheads this afternnoon to help out a friend who found them abandoned in her apartment building. There are a few babies.
Just wondering can I let my dwarf live with my chickens where the lionheads can have the...
I can not figure out what has happened to this chick. It is about a month old and the vent area looks aweful, highly swollen and inflamed. I think it may have been stepped on by a person but that is just an opinion, no one remembers doing it but I have stepped on one before and did not realize...
I was trying to slowly relocate some young chicks (2 weeks) from my dining room to the coop. It's a long story but it got colder than expected about the time the chicks were delivered, and I do not have a garage. They are starting to fly to the top of the waterer which means in a few days they...
I have an EE's that layed a few blue/green eggs then it appeared they started getting darker and now they are brown. Is this normal really happening? Is it normal? Will they ever be blue/green, again? Or, have I completely lost my mind?
I am sure it is her she has been the only one laying...
My inlaws just moved to a new home and have a pond that could really use some ducks. I got 4 from "SportTees" three were young and have been taken deeper into the food chain, they now just have one that is about 8 months old. I would like to find a feww cheap ducks any breed either sex, I just...
I just bought two turkey poults, they are a bourbon red crossed with a regular bronze turkey. Their names are Thanksgiving and Christmas; guess what is in store for them; provided the kids don't get attached.
Does anyone have a picture of what they will look like grown AND have you eaten one...
I have created a problem, My son and I being new to chicken farming put zip ties on the pullets for identification. We were doing a good job checking the leg bands as the chick grew to prevent any from getting too tight. The problem arose when we removed all the leg band (or so we thought)...
I would like to suggest swapping leg bands for poultry. I recently needed to make one rooster and had to buy a HUGE bag of red size 11 leg bands. I have plenty if you need any they are the spiral type with no information on them. I will be needing many different sizes and/or colors. What I...
I have 4 Rhode Island Red roosters, my son has made a pet out of one but the other three are for sale as I only have two hens. Need to thin down the boys before they began to breed. I live in northeast Alabama near Tennessee and Georgia. $10 each, you pick.
Here are some pictures of the boys.
