I was wondering about standard coloring on BR. I have one 6 week old BR who is almost completely black and just wondering how common the coloring is. Also what is the most likely out come of breeding her with this roster?

Rock the Barred Rock Roo
I found out this morning that my Egyptian Fam Hathor is really Osiris , and this afternoon I saw tail tell signs that he at least attempted matting with my light Brahma banty. So he needs is own living quarters for him and his girls and ideas for a fast solution.
Here are a few pics of my mystery chick. I am not worried about sex yet. Just trying to figure her out the best way to describe her markings is like a red hawk.
I will try for more pics later. She just does not stand still for long.
I am about 90% sure that he is a roo, just looking for conformation.
Le me know if you need more pics. His legs are yellow, and his head spot kinda looks like mouse ears.
One of my 2 yr old RIRs Lovely was lethargic when I went to tuck the girls in for the night. I have brought her into the house with food and water. A friend suggested it could be respiratory or a spider bite. She is also curling up her right toes/legs. None of the other girls seems to be...
One week ago I received a phone call from the Post Office telling me that my chicks from McMurray had arrived. I brought them home and got them settled into the brooder in the coop. About three days later I asked my Border Collie Brandy if she wanted to go with me to check on the babies, and in...

I am on my second batch of chicks so this is the first time I've had to worry about introducing new girls into the established flock. Right now the babies (one week old) are in a secured brooder box in the coop with the big girls (2 yr olds). They can hear each other but not see. I am just...
Here are a few shots of what I think is my free rare chick. I ordered Barred Rocks, Sliver Laced Wyandottes, and Araucans (EE's) any thoughts or guess on this one?
She doesn't like her picture taken
This morning when I went to let me girls into the backyard, where they love to roam and scratch. I didn't see most of them, so I called and used the dog and bribery to try and get them into the yard, where I can see them from the windows. During this process a bird of pray, either a peregrin...
I am new to chickens I got my first chicks in March and now understand a friends attachment to her birds. In my little flock of RIRs I have at least one roo for sure. He is mild mannered and I am thinking that I want to keep him for breeding. I am just wondering if I should make him and a...
I have three roos that need new homes. If you can pick them up great if not PM and we can arrange somthing.
Here are the pics
Bantam roo. I only have a pic of the one but they two could be twins. They have shown aggressive behavior towards other roos
RIR roo, he is fairly mellow, although I...
I am pretty sure that these partiage batams are roos. I am just new to chickens and want confermation before I sell them.
They both have a tendancy to "bump chests" with each other and the other roo who is RIR here is a few pics of the RIR roo just to confirm my thoughts on him.
I know...

Baby pics, less than one week old

Just like the kids I had to bribe them to stay still.
Ok so not a duck or ugly but she is the only one like this in the flock and I just can't figure out what she may be. Her feathers are the oposite of my silver sea bright. The feathers appear to be black with a white lining, she has very yellow legs. I hope someone can id her.
