    Dead Meat Bird

    Our meat birds are almost 9 weeks. I am learning how to butcher tomorrow. One of our meat birds was dead this am! did I wait too long, is it possible he had a heart attack? What do I do with him now? Arggghhhh and help! This stinks.

    Redish stuff in meat birds poo

    My meat bird (about 5 weeks old) pooped today and there was red in it. The stool is also very loose. I moved them into their own brooder because they were getting too big for my other brooder and chicks. So ... I am just curious as to what this could be.

    Not one Chick

    Day 26, no chicks, opened the eggs, a few had had actvity but nothing. I am so sad, feel like I had my hopes way up, and and am beating my self up for trying to figure out what I did wrong. Will try again, very soon. This is tough tho, am I odd to be so let down?
