    I am feeding my chicks, chick starter. The directions say to feed for first 8 weeks. I feed my adult chickens layer crumbles. The directions say not to feed until they are 18 weeks. So my question is, what do I feed them weeks 9 through 17? Is there an all purpose feed for that?

    Ok, so I know this is a cochin bantam. I think it is a pullet. Is that right? I thought she was going to be black, but on the ends of her wing feathers, they have some brown stripes going on. So what color do you think she will be? Also, how old do you think she is? Thank you!
