Took a video of it:
Repeats about every 15 seconds, and seems to be in the trees. When I move close it will move a little further but won't make a sound when moving. Just calls again further away. It seems to like hanging around the coop for some reason.
Any ideas? I'm hoping this is common...
I've got three eggs in my Mini Advance, saw some movement in one yesterday, and it is now well into day 0 (hatch day) with no pipping.
I know some take longer than others, and that's fine, but I'm concerned about my Brinsea Mini Advance. Do I have to click any kind of "add a day" to keep it...
I'm thinking about keeping some chickens on some remote land. No power, just basically a hunting get-away.

I have a Mottled Cochin Bantam rooster who looks like this:
I've just recently started seeing the fertile bulls-eye in my eggs when I crack em open for breakfast. That's kinda making me want to try incubating some eggs and seeing what comes out.
My hens are:
2) Barred Rocks
2) Rhode...
I already read an article on bumblefoot surgery on The Chicken Chick's website, so that got me kinda paranoid. When tending to the chooks today one of my RIR's squatted for me, so I picked her up and checked her foot. To my dismay I saw this:
Looks like she needs to go under the knife...
