    -20 to -25 BELOW 0 this weekend!!!!! ANY TIPS!?

    This is our first winter with chickens and with temps looking at reaching -25 below at night and no higher than 0-5 deg. during the day, does anyone have any tips on keeping our ladies ( and 2 boys) safe? Even I consider these temps "too cold!" Thanks!

    Are heating fuel prices suspose to be REGULATED???????

    So are heating companies regulated when it comes to their prices per gallon? After not delivering fuel for 7 MONTHS (we are on automatic delivery) our wonderful fuel company delivered less than 300 gallons of propane AT $4.73 A GALLON!!! I thought I was going to have a stroke! I'm so mad...

    Does anyone know what the longest amount oftime you can leave a processed meat chicken in water? Does changing the water freq. matter?     What's the deal with people only feeding corn????

    I'm very confused, I've heard a bunch of people (and actually had 2 people talk to husband in T.S. who said that after a couple of weeks they only feed their meat birds cracked corn (or whole) and move them daily. A couple of friends have said the same thing. I can't wrap my head around this...

    We Have a crowing hen and 3 Roosters...why is she crowing?

    First Eggs.......I'm so proud!!!!!

    just came in to find that Burtha-may and fluffly (2 golden buffs) Have just laid their first eggs!!!! I couldn't be happier. Got them from the local tractor supply in April and now have 25 younger ladies that will soon be doing the same. Quiche here I come!
