did anyone else order any from Ideal I ordered 25 roos and 8 pullets, I seem to have alot of odd colored chicks with alot of rose type combs. Some of these chicks don't really resemble any breed that I know, just wondering if they send mutt chicks as sunrise surprise.
I know when attempting to raise hatchery chicks you can expect losses, but I'm feeling a bit frustrated. My last order of 73 are now 10 wks old I've had 3 losses, my new order I received last fri, of 52, I have now lost 3 and another is acting droopy this morn. I've explained to my son that...

This is our free exotic from MM.....any ideas.....I've looked at their online site (darn can't find my catalog)
so not any ideas yet. It's a nice size chick actually bigger than the barred rocks...no feathers on legs
We happily received our chicks this morn, all (75) appear healthy and are very lively. The only problem one does not have eyes. Now what to do, my 13 yo son is firmly against putting this one down, not that I could do the deed either. The little guy is eating and drinking. The question do I...
