My girls wont lay in there nest box ive but fake eggs in there they just lay in the coop so i put the same bedding as the coop still no eggs in nests just in coop
I am using a old bunny coop it is 24in tall 28in wide and 48in long they like it and i put pine shaveinds in it my question is do i need a bigger coop all i have is 2 chickens?!?!?!?
It recently snowed over her in nm whick it hardly ever snows and rains on the runs floor it is now covered in mud is it bad for the chickens to be in mud? P.S. There are places in the run that are still dry.
Ok so my friend gave me my first chickens i ever owened they are Buff Orpingrons the layed once a day everyday and i had them for 2 days and they dont lay what can i do?!?!?!?
Ok so i just got chickens a week ago and i have a 1 1/2 year old border collie and he is courious about the chickens he dosnt hurt them, snatch at them or bark at them he runs around outside the coop and tries to get in it takes us 45 minutes to get him in at night he sleeps in my room and ever...

So recently i made a run and my coop is in side my run and the coop is made out of plywood so i have alot of roofing tin so i was thinking about covering to roof of the run (now is chicken wire) with the roofing tin to keep the plywood coopfrom geting weathered and more protection from hawks...
