So sorry to hear that Kathy. Words can't express my sympathy. I am glad you were able to spend some time with him recently. Every time I go home and visit with my mom I try and do something special for her while I'm there. Sounds like he was the same way.
look what was waiting for me in the coop when i got home yesterday evening...
with the head that is currently missing i would have put it at about 5'5".....since it was only a couple inches shorter than me when i held it up
the three lumps are ceramic eggs...need to go get some more now!
Hoping the Oklahoma peeps are staying safe up there. Just got word that my ex's sister and kids are safe...it hit 10 blocks from them. Keeping positive thoughts for those that live up there and keeping fingers crossed on KiM's family fast recovery.

they have all sorts of names for them down here.... being that it was mother's day i didn't want to take away from the special occasion by referring to them as crawDADS
i grew up in Texas , we typically called them crawfish. here they are crawfish, mudbugs, crawdads....
on another note...
hope everyone had a fantastic mother's day weekend! love seeing all the different pics
we celebrated new orlean's style yesterday and cooked up 120 pounds of crawfish
not me....i just want to be left alone. i also hate taking medicine of any kind. if it will just work itself out of my system then i am a happy camper.

the next two pics show all 10 chicks....had great color variations on this hatch!
so proud of my little bantam Black Rock. She sat on 13 eggs and hatched out 10 of them.
if you look at the 1st two pics you will see all 10 at once.
i had to take them out as i counted them then snapped the pics real quick.
Happy birthday Dar! :D
Hope you feel better soon Kathy :/
The Icee chicks from Deb are hatching for the Cinco de Mayo hatch....will post a couple pics of them on Monday when I get to work.
