And my DH is calling wanting to know "if I'm better yet". (code for you're cooking dinner, right?) Yeah, cuz I was just faking it before.Oh, and I got to hear about how inconvenient my being sick is for him. Because he assumes he'll get sick too and he's too busy to be sick. And I'm not? Like I did it on purpose. Yup, I was on a mission to go infect myself so I could make him miserable.
Well, I'm heartsick. I let Elska and the three Araucana chicks she hatched for me out of their pen when I came home for lunch. When I got home I went out to check and she only had one chick with her. I found the other two in the water pan I had in the coop for the flock.....didn't even think they could reach it but there was bedding mounded up in places and somehow they got into the water and couldn't get out. It was a beautiful day, why weren't they outside enjoying it?!
Lesson learned.....the hard way.
