To help hatch or to not help hatch

I just got home from work and checked on my turkeys in the incubator and found that someone is trying to break out of jail. I have no idea how long he has been at it. So do I help or resist the urge?

Confused on the sex of our bourbon red turkey

We have two bourbon red turkeys they are both just over a year old. When they were little we were sure we had a male and a female because the one had feathers a lot further up the neck and was smaller than the other. Then early this spring the one we thought was a female started strutting and...

    Help! Only one chick!

Poor little thing. The mirror has really helped my little fuzzie. He has a wash cloth, little stuffed monkey, a mirror and a feather duster in with him. He is pretty happy most of the time but when he starts yelling I will go and hold him for awhile and then he is fine again.

    Help! Only one chick!

BoiseChik your mismatched babies are adorable! No one at the extension office knew of any babies right now so I am going to post an ISO add on craigslist and I am also going to try and get my broody hen to be a surrogate to the chick. So fingers crossed that she takes him in.

    Help! Only one chick!

I did check Craigslist and no one has any close by. None of our farm stores will order in chicks after the end of may. I am going to call our local 4H extension office in the morning and see if they know of any around.

    Help! Only one chick!

Our eggs started hatching two days ago and only two hatched. One baby didn't make it so I am left with one chick. What can I do for this only baby. He is eating and drinking but is very lonely. I ended up putting a wash rag in the box last night for him to cuddle with.
