ok the 1st question of what kinda babys? i have no idea. got them from TS.
2nd question of the water bottle? omg it works great, try it use it. it keeps the water clean. you just have to put there beeks up to the ball to show them and try tapping the ball a little with your finger to get there...

thats the funnest thing ive ever see if would have to say she's goin gto have some funny looken eggs after that one:lol:
i mean the eggs have been in the bator for 13days now and no tempature rise about 99.5 i though when the embro's grow the temp rises a little after day 12
there just layen all over the place in the food, sunning area, corners. this is weird behavor from them.temp is 95*f and there only 6 days old. http://s595.photobucket.com/albums/tt32/locksmith520/
I also had problems with my pasty butts q-tips, and warm water cleaned them up nicely. I stopped giving them sugar water after day 2 and thay no longer have this problem.
the pasting got worse befor it got better. this morning all there little buts were in bad shape. again i cleaned them and changed the water. by tonight thay were fine no more problems.i glad i didnt have a sickness.i belive it was the water to be honest. thay must have got shugar water twice.
As of me I've use to put golf balls on the nesting box. if you luck they will eat the ball and not the egg. takes care of the problem, and keep the chicken on her eggs.
last year i got 25 RIR pullets and hade no problems. did you get the there vacines, and the water enhancer "yellow powder"?,and is the tempature in the box at least 95*f ?
I just got my chicks from TS last night. ive reaed chicks befor but ive never seen chicks do this, thay have a bad case of the runs and there little buts are covered.also thay are laying down and now cherping any the heat sorce is a 125 watt clear bulb and a thermostat the keep the babys at 95*f...
