Hi all!! Very new to crested cream legbars, but am excited, none the less! I have a surprise BLRW cockerel that was sold to me as a pullet. He is gorgeous!! I'm considering keeping him to possibly breed with my crested cream legbars. I also have BLRWs, olive Eggers (one has a Silkie dad), a...
14 week old BLRW roo - FREE (depending on if I need to travel). I had a hunch Red was a roo several weeks ago and low and behold, we have a crow. He's the sweetest thing, and definitely the most gorgeous! Unfortunately, we can't have Roos where we live. Will gladly send you a better picture if...
I don't care if they end up all splash, they are for pets/eggs. I don't breed them. BUT, that being said, I would've liked to have had the option of splash/blue/black! But that's alright!! I love them regardless. I just want to see full lacing! My 3 SLW have beautiful lacing on their chests, but...
Ok!! Thank you!! That makes so much more sense! It definitely seems like they're all splash then. Can't wait to see them as they get older!! Also, they're from privett hatchery in New Mexico.
I wish I would've done a little research!!! I just picked some dark, light, and in between thinking maybe there'd be a little variety! Either way, I'm sure they'll be gorgeous!!
Either way, I love them!! I knew there was a chance of blue, splash, and black. Hopefully there's a little variety in there. What do I look for in their colorings as they change?
Here are my first blue laced red wyandottes!!! I am so excited to finally have them!! I have been waiting for over a year and finally found them in pullets, not straight run. I have 3 SLW and their patterns are beautiful on their chest and horrible on their backs. I have high hopes for these...
Here are the girls last week! They are very obvious pullets, 13 weeks old tomorrow! No doubt in my mind when comparing to cockerels, they also are not crowing, another lovely sign! I'll have to take new pictures to show you their lacing that is coming in!! They are gorgeous!!!
I have 3 silver laced wyandottes and they were sexed as pullets, yet I posted here and most thought I had 2, if not 3, cockerels! Needless to say, I think these little ones are females, but time will tell!
