I`m not sure when she got bred, so I have no idea o when she will kid, she has quite an utter on her I see her little teats,her ligaments if I'm checking right is loose her behind sometimes looks swelled sometimes not, not her sides are sucken in she looks smaller like she is getting thiner...

yeah last week friday i went out to feed my chickens (2) and there was an egg, on the floor under the roost, not in the nest where i thought it would be. but it was so little....will they get bigger? but i`m not sure as to which one is laying i have 2, so from then on every day i got 1 egg...

TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, I GOT THEM THE BEGINNING OF JUNE,WHEN THEY WERE JUST SO LITTLE N YELLOW,WITH PEEP PEEPS, NOW THEY ARE LIKE THEY WERE NEVER LITTLE, THEY ARE CALLED REDSTARS AND THEY ARE SO PRETTY, I FEED THEM LAYING MASH CRACKED CORN BUT NOT TO MUCH, AND TODAY I STARTED GIVING THEM BREAD...
now my chickens all 2 of them has never had scraps, should i intoduce them to scraps ? since i`ve had them from a week old just gets their feed and cracked corn, and of course their water.:yiipchick
Now my 2 hens(redstars) keep some how pushes their foodfeeder outside, how they get it down the ramp without spilling, is a mystery to me, but why do they do that? its just small enought for the 2 of them so it is quite light i guess but they move it with out spilling a drop of food after i fill it.

i read alot on here that you should feed them chicken scraps? mine has never had any thing from the kitchen only their laying mash, cracked corn, and grits, is that the hold up for eggs.
