I dont use it but a lot of people near me in PA use coal for heating. It’s the cheapest fuel around. They even sell coal burning stoves at our local Tractor Supply.

Cut a rectangle any size you want, attacha a hinge to the top, add hardware cloth to the inside and prop it open with a stick. Then you can adjust how much it’s open with different size sticks. Cheap and easy.

I have a mature turkey with bent toes and he is the biggest and strongest out of 8 turkeys. I have heard you can tape the toes to something sturdy like a toothpick and it will eventually straighten out as the bones grow. Mine walks and does everything the other can do without any issues.
