We hatched 4 Goldtops (Light Sussex/Silkie cross) in early June. We specifically bought the eggs because we were told that they were sex linked and that from hatching the boys would be white and the girls honey coloured, so we were very pleased to hatch 1 white and 3 goldies (pic attached)...

Thanks for all the advice. Our broody hatched 3 and we got 4 from the incubator, we put them together one evening as suggested and Mother quite happily takes care of all of them - quite problem free. So we have 2 black German Langshan and 5 Goldtops - and they are so cute!

Unfortunately we don't know what colour the silkie was. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how these turn out - I'll wait until they're a little bigger and then post some more pictures on here. Many thanks anyway.
