I bought them as premium sexed pullets from TSC but they're making me suspicious. They were labeled as Americana (so EE I assume). They are 6 to 7 weeks old. I am specifically asking about the mostly white one and the red and blue one. Little bitty spur? bumps on the back of the white ones legs...

We are using concrete pavers and buried bricks along the fence. Some panels to block the view in a few strategic areas. Luckily our neighbors correct the dog when she comes barking or digging!
My run was super muddy, so I covered it all with a few inches of wood chips. Got a whole load of the chips for free through craigslist. That fixed the mud problem, and the chickens love scratching through the mulch. Good luck with your run!
Marigolds! They are my chicks and chickens #1 favorite. They love to eat them and I get to enjoy the pretty flowers. They are super easy to grow and you can save the seeds from the dead flower heads to plant even more.

My biggest Sapphire Gem chick (1st pic) is approximately 4 to 5 weeks old, and her face is kinda bulky. But then the next biggest chick has a more soft, rounded look.
