Soooo......I think this sapphire is a roo. The comb is twice as big and red as the others. The face is bigger too. Thoughts?

Oh most definitely! I’m keeping a female sapphire as well and and will try breeding him to her to see if they breed true. Also going to try a speckled Sussex/Sapphire cross.Oh, how exciting! Maybe my big girl is actually a roo too! Keep us updated as they grow, please!!
They look like one of our babies we got from a breeder in our area, they told us she is an Olive Egger. Interesting.Hello! So I know there’s not much known about this breed so I’m going to document mine. I got 4 pullets today from Atwoods. Super excited! So far they seems to be very calm, docile, and curious. They seems to be alright with being handled.
