Offering 6+ hatching Dominique Eggs out of show and egg production hens. Dominique's are one of the USA's heritage breeds, cold hearty and heat tolerant they make excellent layers or meat birds but the best part is when they hatch you can tell what you have since they are sex linked. Males are...
Hi All!
I am so excited and can't wait to start setting eggs from my Dominique group. I am new to the breed and bought some Dominique's from a breeder not far from me that had decided to concentrate on a different breed. I then lucked into taking them to Shawnee in Dec and ran into some very...
Love the size of these birds. Not as big as a standard but not as small as a Bantam. Great egg production, dual purpose and they don't eat me out of house or home.
These birds have been really great for my kids. Patient and sweet natured birds. Very easy to keep even with Oklahoma's extreme temps. Great for 4-H kids and adults!

Wyandotte bantams are miniatures of the large fowl. A graceful, alert and active but docile breed. A short and deep body, the back broad and short, the breast full and round. The wings are medium sized and the tail is medium yet full and spread at the base. The head is short and broad with a...
My son, a friend and I are going. DS is showing his 5 Partridge Bantam Wyandottes and I am showing (for the first time) my Dominique. It would be great to meet some fellow okies that are on the list.

Well, I'm gonna be here until Aug so I might have time to get this in order! I will contact some breeders here in Iceland and the USDA and see what is involved. I would think getting some new blood into the USA would be good if the same flock has been being used for 13 yrs. I know...
Ok, does anyone know the logistics of bringing Icelandic eggs back with me to the states? I am in Iceland and have visited a few chicken breeders here and am thinking of bringing some home to hatch. Can anyone help out?
Thanks Hoppy . We did not have the girls with him since we live in a neighborhood we only have the girls here at the house( no fertile eggs ). I had taken him to the main coop( ie the farm) last month since his crowing was bothering the neighbor. I can't blame them since the coop at our...
Hello fellow Okies,
It has been a while since I posted but I'm desperate tonight and wondering if anyone out here can help me. My son just recently bought some Wyandotte Partridge Bantams to show in the spring. He had a cute little trio until today when I thought wow, wouldn't it be nice to...
Hello Wyandotte enthusiasts!
I am a chicken lover with a son who has just started showing in the FFA/4H level and he has gotten into showing the Bantam Wyandottes (Partridge ). Well, long story short we love these little birds. My son had just bought his own birds in Oct at a show and is...
Hi Radonahue,
I emailed the company about the over site and before I dispute it I was going to see if they would fix it or respond.
As Shelly stated in an earlier post, I did talk with the owner (supposed) and he really did not seem to care if we bought from them again. I do not...

Ok, anyone know why a wild Turkey Hen(I think) would try and hang out by my chicken coop with my girls? It appears to be a mature but young bird..... Kind of cool but I thought they usually hung out with their own kind????

I love Wyandottes they winter fine here in Oklahoma but the summers are a bit harder on them(hot and humid) but they are good layers and lay pretty much all winter for me. I would have more if I could find them.
