I have one pair of breeding Chinese geese for sale. They are currently laying. The female is a brown Chinese and the male is a white chinese. They are two years old. We are located in Santa Fe, Tx.
All of mine do have orange bills with a pink tint on the end and two of them have orange feet as well. So I guess they're technically faulty or maybe not even really cotton patch. I did see their parents and the had pink beaks and bills, so who knows. They don't want me to get close to them yet...
I don't know why I didn't get notified of replies, so I just saw all of these.
I was looking at pictures the other day and just realized he had a lot more gray on the top of his head when I first got him. It pretty much faded out to what it was in the picture I posted. Plus he was pretty...
Yesterday I picked up some geese that are supposed to be cotton patches. One of them has multi-colored eyes. His/her eyes are blue at the top, but brown on the bottom half. Is this normal?
One of my 6 month old silkies has been acting weak for the last couple of days. She had been eating tiny amounts until today. I gave her a scrambled egg the other day which she ate a tiny bit of. Today I tried the same thing but she won't take it. She will drink a tiny bit of pedialyte if I put...
was kind of thinking he may have been a mixed breed too. When I got him the guy told me it was a male and a Persian goose. I don't know too much about the different breeds of geese so I didn't question what he said. He really didn't honk much until he saw me. His eyes were also a really light...
Someone gave me this goose a couple of months ago. He turned out to be amazing, but passed away the other day. I really want another goose and would like it to be the same breed. Problem is, I don't know the exact breed he was. Hopefully someone can tell me from looking at his picture.
I have one mallard hen left. That is her picture in my avatar. She is approximately 4 months or so old. We got her from Tractor Supply during Easter of this year. Shes a good duck but her friend passed away and since then she has become sort of reserved. I live in Lake Jackson, Texas but can...
I've still got her. Put her on craigslist for Houston but only one person asked me about her and never replied back. She's fat and happy but still lonely. She's such a good duck, but the fact that she's all alone makes me sad.
My mom lives on the river. When I was smaller there were lots of wild ducks and they used to come up into the yard sometimes. Of course there are also tons of crows. I never saw a crow bother the ducks once though. I'm sorry you lost your babys though.
I bought two ducklings from tractor supply during Easter and kept them inside ever since. One passed away a few weeks ago, but I still have her friend. It's pretty neat having a full grown mallard in the house, very messy though. But fun!
I'm about to look at Craigslist. I was going to make an auction but it said I had to update my location first and it won't let me do that without 10 posts first. Off to craigslist I guess.
Too bad someones not closer to me. I could drive to meet someone if they were near by. I have to go to Friendswood a lot recently. I still have her. I can't really get her a friend because no one near me I know has any other ducks! I'm sure someone does, but I just don't know who. I keep looking...
My kids and I originally got two cute mallard chicks around easter. They were fine and healthy, but for some reason one of them died during the night last week. They were inseperable and now I feel like the one we have left is lonely. They were kept indoors they're entire life so I'm not sure...
I'm not sure about turkeys, but all my duck eggs had internally pipped before I increased the humidity. One even started cracking his shell, so last night I increased the humidity in my Brinsea mini advance and he hatched about 12 hours later with no problem. I was worried he might become shrink...
