SAN DIEGO MEET UP TIME! ***SEPTEMBER 28TH*** 10am***

Looks like I am going to be able to make it after all. I just checked the site to see what everyone is bringing for the potluck, and only see a few items listed. Hubby is still sick but well enough for me to go. I will probably buy something at Costco for the potluck, so any requests? Bring a...

SAN DIEGO MEET UP TIME! ***SEPTEMBER 28TH*** 10am***

I'm going to do my best to go, depending on health of family members (bug going around). Because I can't be firm on going, I don't want to post what I will bring. Is there a place to hook up a crock pot? Might have to throw something together at the last minute. Are we looking for some...

San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

Any more San Diego meetups planned? I'm in Lakeside, and really enjoyed the Wild West Serama Show in Ramona recently. It would be nice to meet some more SD County/City folks. We have a lot of 4H and FFA kids out here.

Possible worms in chickens, and not laying

My chickens haven't layed since Christmas, have pale combs, and are molting alot. They eat and drink well, and behavior seems fine. I have seen some small white wiggling things in some poop, but don't know which or if all of the hens are doing this. I was told it is probably tapeworms, though...
