Yes--apnea is just caused by the neck muscles and stuff sagging back into the throat and blocking breathing during sleep. The person gasps themselves awake and repeats the process all night long. It's more common in heavier folks because of the extra fat and tissue. It is dangerous!

Their bedding is pine shavings. I haven't measured the temp, but based on their configuration in the kiddie pool (not crowded or too spaced out in a ring), they are comfortable, happy, eating, playing, flying and drinking.
