Ok so here are my tolbunts. Chick #1 Chick #2 Chick #3 Chick #4 Chick #5 Chick #6 I know is a boy.

So I hatched out six tolbunts. Three are 12 weeks old and three are 10 weeks old. I think only one is a male. Is this possible? I will post some pictures as soon as I can.

Yeah it does have a very slight tint. I'm going to put my hen in question in her own coop for a few days to see if that's her egg.

So I think I got my first Tolbunt egg today. Here is a pic The top egg is a store egg, second is a dorking egg, third is a silkie and I think that last one is a Tolbunt. What do you guys think?

Yeah I am in south east lower MI. It just started getting warm here too. All of my chickens stopped laying over winter this year and one just started up two days ago. So I'm hoping it will be soon.

Blackgoat how old is your girl? Mine is nine months old and I'm still waiting for an egg. I thought she laid one but it was one of my other pullets. I'm hoping it will be soon.

I think that egg i got was from a silkie or maybe my dorking. So when do Tolbunt polish start laying? I got a pair of them in July they are about 6 months old now. The male just started crowing yesterday.

Hmm maybe it was one of my silkies. There eggs are usually darker. I don't know. I have two silkie pullets that hatched in May do you think it could be one of them?

Oh yeah I see what you mean. This one is definitely a Mohawk. I had one chick who I thought was a girl because of the fan like puff, but turned out to be a boy. I was really hoping for a girl cause i have one Tolbunt and one gold laced rooster. Oh well.

Hey any guesses on the sex of this polish? It really has me stumped. It is seven weeks old it has been pretty slow at getting its feathers. It's head puff is like a Mohawk.
