When I've had wry neck with chick's, I've used poultry Nutri-drench, and its resolved fairly quickly, all gone within a few days. You might check your local feed store, they usually carry it, or they also have it on Amazon.

Hmm can you post a pic? Minnie does lay eggs, but she crows and also mates her girlfriend Elsa (which is surprising since Elsa is so mean to everyone else). Daisy also crows.. and they arent egg songs. They get up to a high point, then position their wings like bat capes and stretch their...

At times, i get daily eggs from my duccles! Right now, they are back to every other day after we had a deep freeze (they were very unhappy, zero eggs!!). Mine are from ideal, another mega hatchery. I have seen them trade off on sitting if i forget to get the eggs out, but not actually broody so...

This reminds me, i was looking for free/cheap old or broken ladders last year.. the girls want to be off the ground when they are in the run, and the nosey ones want to be really high so they can stare at the neighbors over the fence! I'll need to search again.

10 hawks and black vultures!!! They landed in my and my neighbors yards! She found a dove w its feathers tore up. I must have just went outside when they caught it, because they were scattering. The chickens were nowhere to be found (hiding in the coop). Once they heard my neighbor and i...

Yea, only 2 out of 7 are laying, every other day at that. Im grateful, but not expecting much else til spring arrives. I have to do indoor work and errands today, can't wait til i have time to get back into the garden. Planning out some shade for summer as well, it was just too ridiculous this...

Ahhh... sweet satisfaction of a clean coop and run. Saw a hawk way in the distance, then nothing, so they got some exercise time before rains arrive. I love how easy and smart my D'uccles are. They come back into the run when i call them, and everyone (except my silkies) follow them right in...

Ugh. Hawk on my fence! Then the dogs run up to it. It doesn't care. Then i run up to it, and it flies CLOSER to the coop. Then i shoo it again and it flies into my neighbors tree. Chickens were huddled low inside the mini coop (double predator protection). I guess we aren't doing playtime for a...

There's a neighborhood cat that had been at my coop a few times, and he seems to like our street, but I think he's feral. I've been shooing him away so he doesn't feel welcome, but that only works when he sees me. Weather is sunny and very nice today. The chickens ran back and forth from one...

No, they aren't noisy like crows,i haven't heard them make any noise at all. But when they fly, they glide mostly, rather than flapping their wings too much, and there's usually a few together.

They actually look like a really massive crow/raven, same pointy shaped beak too. They have short tails which make them look smaller than a turkey vulture.. in fact, the first time i saw them nearby on the ground, i thought they were just large black chickens that got out of someone's yard...

I let them out a bit ago. Its sunny and 75 out (of course I'm working though). I was sitting in a lawn chair while they were all pecking around the lawn. And a giant shadow crossed over me! Took me a minute to find it, but it was in a pair of black vultures. So, back in the run they went. My...
