Oh boy, those temp spikes are fun, huh?
The incubator with my Sebbies spiked to 110 degrees for about a half an hour before I checked and noticed. I still had a pretty nice hatch, though!
They're tough little buggers!
Glad you've been following Balbinka's growth- you've saved yourself and...
It's hard to say with all your color options!
Colored Sebastopols cannot be sexed by down color. You'll need to vent sex them to be sure.
To me... from what I can see in the picture... they could be... blue... lavender... or white. I think buffs are lighter, but I am not sure!

Is this all from the big batch you set? It is time already? That was a fast hatch! The 2 goslings I hatched from your eggs Jean are some of the best pets I've ever owned. They help me weed my garden and stay by my side...basically, they are my little shadows! I love them! Thank...

A lot of people *gasped* at the idea I spent $12/egg, but I did a personal pick-up, met the breeder, met mommy and daddy goose.... and after seeing how wonderful they all were, I feel like I didn't pay ENOUGH!
Also... sure goslings can go without food and water for 24 hours...
However, my baby Binka hatched just this afternoon and is already eating, drinking, and pooping!

That way, you can know what you are getting too.
It's best to look at the true conditions they are kept in... not to mention some geese are very poorly and live just long enough to lay, then get sick and die off.
And yes, it is extremely pricey to ship a small amount of chicks. It isn't...
