One of the largest chicken swaps in Virginia was held today, Gilmanor farm swap. I took over 26 birds with me and sold out of every one. But the bell of the ball was my german new hampshire trio. Everybody just ewwd and awwd over them. A lot of folks said they had never seen such beautiful...
A few pics of my New Hampshires.
I think the roo's tail is too high, and although I don't think the hen's tails are pinched they're not really fanned out as much as I'd like to see. Maybe something to work with.

I would love to get some of your F3's when you get them going. How far are you from St. Louis Kathy. My wife works for Wells Fargo and has to go there on business trips from time to time. Would love to see your set up.
They're doing great. Growning fast. I've got them in with the stukel line barred rocks and they're getting along good. I got 5 more from a hatch from John Horton so I've got 12 total now. I think that's a pretty good start.

I've got a dozen german new hampshire eggs I got from John Horton in the incubator now. So in 21 days we'll see what happens. My lone pullet needs some company.
A lot of threads are quiet these days. Could be due to the site change over or either not much is going on this time of year. Hoping I'll have some german line NH's in the bator by the first of next month.
