We all make mistakes. And the fact that you can admit you were wrong means you arn't a jerk. My youngest sister is going through puberty and I am in awe of my mothers patience. I would have yelled at her and made things worse so many times.
I don't know if anyone is still on this thread, but about a hundred posts ago, I mentioned that I might dress my sheep up as a knight horse for the local fair. I have completed her costume and she, predictably hates it.
Are any of you interested in going to the Eastern NY State Poultry Show?
It is at the Cobleskill Fairgrounds, Coblskill, NY, and it's the last Sunday in September if anyone's interested and it's actually possible for you to get there.
So last night I went egg hunting as usual and since they do not free range I figured they would stick to the nesting boxes, right?
Yeah right. I found two eggs in the rafters. I had to climb up the roost to get to them since our coop is roughly 6 feet high.
I don't see that many other kids that aren't farmers but there was one girl who came to a picnic my grandma hosted. I thought she was 15-16 but she's only 12. How she talked and dressed were quite shocking. She also only seemed to want to talk about anime and fictional crushes.
Some other people think it might be a hawk. I don't know about that though. There were feather trails leading into the woods and I didn't think a hawk would take something as big as a full grown chicken.
