Thanks, guys! Nope, no colostomy bag, at least it doesn’t look like it. They’re going to remove the diseased section just above and below the lesion, then stitch the colon together. The initial biopsy was benign, but they’ll biopsy it, and the surrounding tissue, again when they get it all out.

She’s still hurting…a lot. Mike‘s mom (the nurse) rigged up a special bra for her with pockets to hold ice packs, and Diane says the only time she’s halfway comfortable is when those ice packs are in there. She heads back to the doctor on Friday for a follow up and to get the final pathology...
